The incident took place in Hampshire County around 12:30 p.m Saturday, Aug. 14 in the area of Main and Masonic streets in Northampton, said Detective Lt. Craig Kirouac.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be okay, police said.
An investigation is underway to determine if the person was in a crosswalk.
